The fifth week, HEC Upward Bound has a partnership with Harris-Stowe University and the fifth week is an overnight week on Harri-Stowe University campus. Students have the opportunity to experience college-life on sight.

The sixth week, students are taken out of town. During this trip students are able to tour colleges and experience opportunities that the cities may have to offer.
