Student Spotlight: Deja Jackson

HEC Upward Bound is glad to have served Soldan's Deja Jackson. This high-achieving senior graduated among the top in her class. In fact, Jackson worked so hard in school that she earned the honor of salutatorian of the class of 2015. 

Jackson's scholastic achievement earned her admission into 17 colleges across the United States, but she accepted a full-tuition scholarship to Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. So, yes; that means Jackson will be at Jackson in Jackson! Carl Weathers would say, "That's a lot of Jackson action." ;) #cornyjokecorner  

We couldn't be more proud because this new HEC Upward Bound alumna is evidence that #TRiOworks. Deja, keep shining!
